Dear our valuable customers and business partners,
We would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to all those who have been affected by COVID-19 infection and hope for a speedy recovery and closure of the disease expansion.
ZENOAQ will proactively respond to this situation to prevent the spread of infection, giving the highest priority to the safety of customers, business partners and employees.
We would like to inform you of our response at this time.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
1. About expatriation and overseas business trips
In response to the spread of COVID-19, the company has been implementing thorough infection prevention measures for employees stationed overseas and local employees since January 29, 2020. In light of the shortage of goods in China at initial stage, we have sent masks from Japan to all of our offices to support them. Overseas travel to other areas, including infected areas, has also been cancelled.
2. Response to employees
We voluntarily refrain from participating in domestic and overseas business trips, external training, and social gatherings where an unspecified number of people gather. We are instructed to take thorough infection prevention measures, check for changes in physical condition, and if symptoms are observed, contact a specialist consultation service and suspend work. We supply supplies from our head office to offices where masks, disinfectants, and other supplies are difficult to obtain. Large internal meetings, etc., are also prohibited for the time being.
Please note that the ceremony for issuing the new employee's letter of resignation will be held with a minimum number of people, after taking sufficient measures to prevent infection.
3. External Activities
In consideration of the infection situation in Japan, all external events hosted by our company are cancelled or postponed for the time being. In our sales activities, we disinfect our sales vehicles and take thorough measures to prevent infection among our staff members and shorten business meeting times as much as possible.
4. Supply of products
In order to ensure the continuity of our customers' business, we make various adjustments to ensure that the supply of our products is not disrupted. If there is an impact on procurement, we will do our best to minimize it in the future.
5. Recommendations for a variety of work styles
As a result of the Japanese government's decision to close schools, employees who wish to work telecommuting are required to do so. Network security rules will be strictly adhered to during enforcement. In addition, if an employee has no choice but to take a leave of absence due to this case, special leave (paid leave) will be granted to those employees with little paid leave remaining.
If employees use public transportation, we encourage them to take advantage of staggered working hours.
Sincerely,
Toshikazu Fukui
President
